Volunteer Firefighter

 The City of Aurora is seeking a team-oriented person to fill a vacancy in its Volunteer Fire Department.  This part-time on call position is responsible for combating, extinguishing and preventing fires. Work involves training for and participating in duties of protecting life and property by firefighting and rescue operations, usually under close supervision and in difficult conditions. Considerable time is spent on drills, training, equipment operation and repair and maintenance of the fire hall.

 Knowledge of the physical layout of the city is a plus, and candidates must meet department residency requirements (successful applicant does NOT have to live in City limits, but must live within defined response area).  Paid training is provided and must be completed within a reasonable time frame.

Temporary Summer Seasonal Laborer

 

The City of Aurora is seeking applicants for its TEMPORARY SUMMER SEASONAL LABORER positions.

Pay is $9.50 per hour.  Applications must be received by 5:00 by April 28, 2017.

TEMPORARY CASUAL LABORER

The City of Aurora is accepting applications through Wed, May 10th, 2017 for a Casual Laborer. Applicants must be 18 years or older with a valid MN driver’s license.

Pay Rate is $13.11 per hour. Maximum 65 shifts.
